- There are several parks that offer camping on Lake Whitney, most owned by the Corps of Engineers:
- The 12.5 mile Hopewell Trail and the 5.0 mile McCown Valley Trail are both located nearby, but it does not appear that either ties in to the park. And there is no primitive camping.
